Leitisvatn is the largest lake in the Faroe Islands, and is famous for having the appearance that it's hanging over the ocean. It is a simple hike that should take no more than an hour to get from the trailhead to the iconic view from up on the far cliff. The trailhead starts near the town of Midvagur on the island of Vagar.

I visited Faroe Islands for 10 days and I saw hurricane wind, snow, rain, sun, etc While I was walking towards lake there was a snow going on for 5 minutes, then sky opened and it was sunny for 20 minutes, once I climbed on the hill it started raining again (talking about luck lol)
